About Kalie Moore
I’m Kalie, a San Franciscan living in Berlin by way of Washington DC, Istanbul, and Prague, with my chug (pug+chihuahua) Mr. Tobes.
I launched my site, Berlin Startup Girl, to document my experiences in the international startup scene and to share all things hot in Silicon Allee. Berlin Startup Girl has been featured in various international media outlets including Forbes, The Sunday Times, France24 television, and I was recently named one of the Top 100 International Entrepreneurs in Berlin.
In March 2015, I accepted a job as Director of Global PR at Carmudi, a Rocket Internet venture. All views on this blog are my personal opinion and do not reflect policies or positions of Carmudi or Rocket Internet.
Previously, I crafted and executed data driven marketing and international PR campaigns for startups in Berlin seeking to expand to the global market. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Rivalfox, datapine, RetentionGrid, Startupbootcamp, linkbird, and many others.
I geek out on data and frequently publish big data related articles. I was recently ranked 38th out of the top 180 leading data science, big data and analytics bloggers by Data Science Central. My writing has been featured in All Business, Business Computing World, Sys-Con, Big Data News, and Geektime, and I have a quarterly column featured in the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals Magazine.
I currently serve as a mentor at Startup Weekend and EyeCare Focus Accelerator, and am a frequent technology trend contributor at IntoConnection.
